Fleas: Kills adult fleas and treats and prevents flea infestations. It starts killing newly acquired fleas quickly (within 8-24 hours) and helps control flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).  
Ticks: Provides protection against Paralysis Ticks (Ixodes holocyclus) and Bush Ticks (Haemaphysalis longicornis). Monthly treatment is effective at controlling new infestations of paralysis ticks. (Note: Daily searching for and removal of any ticks found is still recommended, especially in tick season or known paralysis tick areas, as the risk of tick paralysis cannot be entirely eliminated).  
Mites: Treats and controls Ear Mites (Otodectes cynotis) and Notoedric Mange (Notoedres cati).  
Heartworm: Prevents heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis).  
Lungworm (Aelurostrongylus abstrusus): Treats and controls lungworm infestations.

Esafoxolaner: An isoxazoline that provides effective control of fleas, ticks, and mites.  
Eprinomectin: A macrocyclic lactone effective against a range of internal parasites, including heartworm, roundworms, hookworms, and lungworm.  
Praziquantel: Effective against tapeworms.  
 
Suitability:
This specific variant of NexGard SPECTRA Spot-On is formulated for cats weighing between 2.5 kg and 7.5 kg. It is safe for use in kittens from 8 weeks of age weighing at least 0.8 kg, as well as in breeding, pregnant, and lactating queens.  
 
How to Use:
NexGard SPECTRA for Cats is applied topically to the skin using an easy-to-use syringe-style applicator:  
Select the appropriate size applicator based on your cat's weight (the 2.5 – 7.5 kg size uses a 0.9 mL applicator).
Hold the applicator upright, pull the plunger back slightly, twist, and remove the cap.
Part the fur on the midline of the neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the applicator on the skin and push the plunger to empty the entire contents directly onto the skin in one spot. Applying at the base of the skull helps to prevent the cat from licking the application site.
Ensure the product is applied to the skin, not just the fur, for optimal absorption.
 
Frequency of Administration:
For comprehensive and continuous parasite protection, NexGard SPECTRA Spot-On for Cats should be administered monthly. Applying it on the same day each month helps maintain consistent protection.
